Abstract

This research review critically examines the thoughts and contributions of Allama Khalid Mahmud regarding the principles of Hadith (Uṣūl al-Ḥadīth). Recognized as a distinguished scholar of contemporary Islamic thought, Allama Khalid Mahmud offered significant insights into the preservation, authentication, and methodological study of Hadith literature. This study explores his analytical approach toward the classification of Hadith, criteria for authenticity, and the role of Hadith in Islamic jurisprudence and theology.
