This research explores the multifaceted challenges faced by Rabaib (stepchildren) in contemporary society, particularly within Muslim communities, and evaluates these issues through the lens of Islamic jurisprudence. The study highlights key problems including emotional neglect, inheritance disputes, social identity crises, and strained familial relations that stepchildren often encounter due to their unique familial positioning. By examining Qur’anic verses, Hadith, and classical Islamic legal opinions, the paper assesses the ethical and legal responsibilities of stepparents and society towards Rabaib. Furthermore, the research critically analyzes modern socio-cultural dynamics contributing to these problems and proposes Shari‘ah-compliant solutions, such as the promotion of equity, compassion, and clear legal safeguards. The study concludes that a combination of spiritual awareness, community education, and legal reinforcement based on Islamic teachings is essential to ensuring justice and emotional well-being for stepchildren in today’s world.
