Shariah Status of Documentary Divorce: A Research Review

Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life, the teachings of Islam cover all aspects of life, be it rules or problems، virtues، any small matter of life، major issues faced in living life۔ Islam has provided guidance in all areas to guide us۔Just as Islam has completely guided the Muslim man and woman regarding the great sunnah of marriage to lead a life, and on the contrary, when the time comes for divorce between husband and wife, Islam has prohibited such an abominable act as divorce. Rules and regulations for implementation have been set۔ The rules and regulations, conditions and restrictions made by Islam regarding divorce are universal in nature. Islam is the only religion in the world that performs the style of divorce in such a way that the family life of husband and wife is preserved as much as possible. In the same way, the ratio of divorce is increasing in the present era as compared to the previous decades, so it has become a necessity of the present time to write the matters related to the process like divorce. . The writer has made every possible effort to explain the legal status of documented divorce from an Islamic point of view. For this topic, the writer has tried to present the Qur'an and Hadith, jurisprudence, history and the opinions of various scholars in a good way to the readers.
