Explanations of Fiqh al-Hadith in Bazl al-Majhud fi Hall Abi Dawud: A Research-Based Analytical Study

Abstract

This research study explores the scholarly significance of Bazl al-Majhud fi Hall Abi Dawud, the renowned commentary on Sunan Abi Dawud authored by Shaheikh Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri, with particular focus on its contributions to the domain of Fiqh al-Hadith. The commentary is a pivotal work in the Deobandi tradition of Hadith scholarship, integrating juristic insights with detailed explanations of prophetic traditions. Through a critical and analytical approach, the study examines how the author interprets legal traditions, reconciles apparent contradictions, and connects Hadith with classical juristic discourse.
