The Method of Teaching Women's Education in the Qur'an and the Biography of the Prophet ﷺ: A Research and Historical Review

Abstract

According to Islamic Sharia, both men and women have equal involvement in their private and individual life and social life, so it is necessary for women to get religious and worldly education just like men۔.Women also have full right to get religious and secular education. Whether it is the subject of women's education or practical activity, whether it is the subject of women's collective or the subject of political activities, there is a reality in each of them that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) maintained. But do the practical situations that occur in the Prophet's covenant related to each subject make it necessary for us not to be satisfied with these situations and move forward? Those that affect women's educational activities and relationships, regardless of whether they are related to any field in the world, that affect women's practical and social life, all these aspects should be experienced by women from a Sharia point of view. All this will be possible when the woman will receive religious and religious education and will be able to follow the right path according to the command of Allah Ta'ala by adopting the legitimate position of Sharia. In the era of Prophethood, women got freedom, women got rights, before that, women in Arabia did not have any rights, nor did women have any status. Islam gave respect to women. Gave her rights, gave her full freedom so that she could raise her voice for her rights, and also gave women full freedom to get education. This paper is basically a collective jurisprudential study about the education of women during the Prophet's era. Meditating on the Qur'an and Sirat is the only way, without which there is no other way for the complete and true freedom of mankind, be it men or women can be reconstructed.
